It has a convenient top loading bobbin mechanism which takes the hassle out of bobbin changing and is also smooth and quiet (even at full speed). It is also far more reliable when sewing heavy and more extreme fabrics compared to similarly priced front loading bobbin machines. The reverse button and twin needle functions help reinforce any stitches and the view-through bobbin cover lets you know when the thread needs replacing.
